See Exactly What ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini & Perplexity Say About Your Business
A free 15-minute self-audit. The AI already has an opinion about your business, built from your site, reviews, directories and forum threads. This prompt pack shows you what it says, which sources it trusts, and where competitors get recommended ahead of you.

Buyers have stopped scrolling Google. They ask ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Perplexity "who's the best [category]?" and trust the answer. Google's AI Overviews do the same at the top of the page. We're not guessing this matters: over the three months to 6 August 2026, Bing Webmaster Tools reported roughly 9,600 citations of our own site inside Microsoft Copilot and its partner assistants, against 139 Google clicks and 31 Bing clicks in the same window. Almost none of that audience shows up in a normal traffic report. The question is not whether the answer sends you clicks, it is whether the answer names you at all.
How we actually measure it, and what the numbers do not mean
Two instruments, because one is never enough. The first is a set of live probes we run against the answer engines themselves, twice per question: once with no web access, to see what the model already believes about you, and once with search on, to see whether your site is retrievable and persuasive enough to be picked up. Absent in the first means you are not in the model's prior. Absent in the second means your pages are not winning the retrieval.
The second is Bing Webmaster Tools AI Performance, which reports the queries where Copilot and its partner assistants cited your pages, and your share of the answers for each one. It is free, first-party, and it covers the engine that feeds Copilot, so it is the closest thing to a real scoreboard that exists today. Two honest caveats we apply to every report: Bing states the view is a sample and refines it as more data arrives, so a recent dip is not a finding until the window has settled, and its automatic topic labels are frequently wrong, so we report the query text and never the label.
A citation is not a click, and we will never sell it as one. Our own 9,600 citations sit beside 139 Google clicks. What this measurement buys you is knowing whether the answer engines can find you, name you, and describe you correctly. That is worth knowing on its own, and it is a different thing from traffic.
What's inside the free pack
Three copy-paste prompt sets you run across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Mode, plus a fix map:
- Part 1, what AI says about you now: are you in the top 5, is it accurate, who gets named instead?
- Part 2, the sources AI trusts: the exact directories, reviews and threads that decide whether you're recommended, that's your to-do list.
- Part 3, where competitors beat you: a head-to-head that hands you your own 90-day fix list.
AEO and SEO are the same investment
The gaps almost always come down to thin or unstructured content, missing schema, weak reviews, and a slow, dated store. Closing them is Answer Engine Optimization, and the fast, well-structured, schema-rich pages that win AI citations are the same ones that rank on Google. Do it once, win both. See it applied to a real store in our Shopify rebuild case study.

Frequently asked questions
What is an AI visibility audit?
It is a check of what AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews actually say about your business when a shopper asks for a recommendation, which sources they pull from, and where competitors get named ahead of you. Our free prompt pack lets you run it yourself in about 15 minutes.
Why does it matter what AI says about my store?
Buyers increasingly ask an AI for a recommendation instead of scrolling Google. If the AI does not name you, or describes you with outdated information, you lose the sale before you ever knew it existed. The AI already has an opinion about your business, this shows you what it is.
Do I need any tools or a subscription to run it?
No. The prompt pack is copy-paste. You run the same prompts in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Mode with web search on, and write down what comes back. No brand-monitoring subscription needed to see where you stand.
How do I fix the gaps the audit finds?
The gaps usually come down to thin or unstructured content, missing schema, weak reviews and directory presence, and (for Shopify) a slow, dated store. Fixing them is Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), the same investment as good SEO. That is what we do for clients. Send us your site and we will map the fastest wins, in writing, no sales call.
Does this work for any business or just Shopify?
Any business a customer would ask an AI to recommend can run it. We specialize in Shopify and e-commerce brands, where the AEO + store-speed work compounds fastest, but the prompt pack itself is universal.
How do you measure whether AI visibility is improving?
With two instruments. First, live probes against the answer engines, run twice per question: once with no web access to see what the model already believes, and once with search on to see whether your pages are actually retrievable. Second, Bing Webmaster Tools AI Performance, which reports the exact queries where Microsoft Copilot cited your pages and your share of those answers. It is free and first-party, and you can connect it yourself. We treat recent days as provisional because Bing states the report is a sample it refines over time.
Does being cited by AI mean more traffic?
Not necessarily, and we will not claim it does. On our own site, roughly 9,600 Copilot citations over three months sat alongside 139 Google clicks. An AI answer often satisfies the question without a click. What citation share tells you is whether the engines can find you, name you, and describe you accurately when a buyer asks. That is worth measuring on its own terms, and it is not a traffic forecast.
