Free check, takes a few seconds
Check your domain: email, website security and SSL in one run
Type your domain once. We run the three technical checks together and show each result in plain words.
4. One check no tool can run for you: restore one backup to a test machine and confirm it opens
A backup that has never been restored is a hope, not a backup. Only you can confirm it works, and it takes less than an hour.
- Pick one recent backup of something that matters (the website, the mailbox export, the accounting data) and restore it to a test machine or a separate folder, never over the live copy.
- Open it the way you would on a bad day: log in, open a few files, load the site or the database.
- Write down the date, what you restored and how long it took. If anything failed to open, fix the backup now and repeat the test.
Want help fixing what the check found? Write to us on the contact page, in writing, and describe the domain. You do not need to buy anything: the check stays free.
What happens to your data. The email part runs in your browser and asks Cloudflare's public DNS directly. The website and SSL parts send the domain to our check service, which reads the public site once and returns the result. We do not store the domain, the result or your address. We keep only an anonymous daily count of how many checks ran. We set no cookies for this.
What this checks, and its limits
It reads public information only: DNS records for email, the response headers of your home page, and the certificate your site presents. The results are technical observations at the moment of reading.
- It reads the home page and the main address you type. Other pages and subdomains can behave differently.
- Domain expiry comes from the registry's public RDAP service and is not available for every registry (for .ro it is not).
- A good result is basic hygiene, not a security guarantee. We promise no result. This is not legal advice.
- If a part cannot complete, it says "Could not check". We never treat an error as "no problem".
